Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 400 grams bell peppers (2 large, seeded, cut in half lengthwise)
  • 400 grams tomatoes (2 large, seeded, chopped)
  • 2 large garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Montreal Steak Spice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons hot sauce (like Frank's)
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme dried (or 1 1/2 teaspoon fresh chopped)
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary (or 1 teaspoon fresh, chopped)
  • 1 1/4 cups cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (your choice)
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey

How to Make

  • Step 1: Stir-fry the turkey, onions & garlic until the turkey is cooked.

  • Step 2: Mix in the tomatoes, Montreal spice, hot sauce, thyme, rosemary, rice, crumbs.

  • Step 3: Fill the four pepper halves

  • Step 4: If you like spread any leftover stuffing around the stuffed halves or save it for another use.

  • Step 5: Be generous with the filling packing it down fairly well.

  • Step 6: Bake covered in 350F oven for 25 minutes.

  • Step 7: Top with cheese bake another 10 minutes until he cheese has melted and is golden.
