Step 1

Trim fat from steak and cut across grain in slices about 1"x¼".

Step 2

Add soy sauce and garlic. Stir and set aside.

Step 3

Prepare vegetables.

Step 4

Heat half of the oil until very hot in large skillet.

Step 5

Add vegetables and stir-fry 2 minutes.

Step 6

Remove from skillet to warm pan.

Step 7

Add remaining oil to skillet, heat.

Step 8

Add steak and stir-fry 2 minutes.

Step 9

Mix cornstarch with water, add to steak.

Step 10

Cook, stirring constantly until thickened.

Step 11

Add vegetables (add tomatoes last) and mix thoroughly.

Step 12

Serve over white or brown rice.
