Step by Step Method

Step 1

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2

With mixer, beat peanut butter, softened butter and sugars together until well mixed. Add eggs and vanilla and mix until incorporated.

Step 3

Add flour and oats. Mix until combined.

Step 4

Spread into jelly roll pan.

Step 5

Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown. Cool.

FOR THE FROSTING


Step 6

With stand or handheld mixer, mix peanut butter, salt and vanilla.

Step 7

Slowly add powdered sugar and milk alternating to mix. Add a teaspoon or two of extra milk if the frosting needs to be thinner.

Step 8

Spread on cooled bars.
