"This is an easy dish, especially if you have everything in the pantry. I created this recipe after having this soup in a diner. You can substitute ground turkey for the ground beef, and you can make this in the crockpot(low for a few hours) just add the cooked macaroni at the end of cooking."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Combine all ingredients except macaroni in a soup pot and simmer for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Add cooked macaroni just prior to serving.

My mom made a version of this when we were young and it was always enjoyed. Made this for supper after a busy day and it was very good! Used small macaroni and a 26 ounce can of Campbell's tomato soup. The recipe didnt say to drain the tomatoes so I went ahead and added the juice. I think the only change I would make is to use one can of beef broth and a can of water and add some garlic and onion. Thank you for sharing! Made and reviewed for the Billboard Tag Game.
