Step by Step Method

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Slice tomatoes lengthwise in half and gently remove the seeds.

Place cut-side up on a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.

Roast 40-45 minutes, until tomatoes begin to caramelize.
