Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375F.
Step 2
Whisk together the melted butter, mayo, garlic, salt and pepper.
Step 3
Cut bread in half lengthwise, and spread butter mixtures evenly on both halves.
Step 4
Sprinkle each side with cheese and herbs.
Step 5
Place both halves back together so the buttered sides are touching and the bread looks like like a sandwich. Wrap the bread very tightly in aluminum foil so no steam escapes.
Step 6
Bake for 25 minutes. Carefully remove from foil and pull halves apart again, then slice and eat.
