Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, very finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly cracked
  • 1 French bread loaf (I often use 3-4 bolillos/baguettes instead)
  • 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon dried chives (or 1 tablespoon dried parsley)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 375F.

  • Step 2: Whisk together the melted butter, mayo, garlic, salt and pepper.

  • Step 3: Cut bread in half lengthwise, and spread butter mixtures evenly on both halves.

  • Step 4: Sprinkle each side with cheese and herbs.

  • Step 5: Place both halves back together so the buttered sides are touching and the bread looks like like a sandwich. Wrap the bread very tightly in aluminum foil so no steam escapes.

  • Step 6: Bake for 25 minutes. Carefully remove from foil and pull halves apart again, then slice and eat.
