Step by Step Method

Step 1

Melt butter in a skillet and saute the onion until wilted.

Step 2

Add mushrooms and cook until light brown and a little crisped around the edges.

Step 3

Add salt and pepper.

Step 4

Spoon mixture onto bread.

Step 5

Sprinkle with parsley.

Two of my favourite ingredients onion and mushrooms so what could go wrong with the quick, delicious dish of vegies well nothing, the only change I made was the serving of bread I used a lightly toasted low carb, sour dough which is far more friendly to my blood sugar levels than pumpernickel which I don't think they sell here locally and after looking at recipes decided on a another bread, made for Alphabet Soup Tag Game.
