"I make this in large quantities, using the actual measurements as just guidelines. Just as good with green beans instead of broccoli. I freeze in quart ziplock bags, and freeze them flat on a cookie sheet. When you are ready to cook, just thaw for a few minutes in the microwave remove from the bag, and cook in the oven."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Cook onion in butter in large skillet until done.

Step 2

Add broccoli and cook until bright green and tender

Step 3

Add remaining ingredients and cook just until cheese is melted.

If freezing - spoon into quart size ziplock bags and lay them flat on a cookie sheet. Label bags before casserole.
