Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a large bowl combine the oats with coconut and cocoa powder.

Step 2

In a large saucepan (use a large saucepan the butter/sugar mixture rises high when boiling) combine the sugar with evaporated milk and butter; bring to a boil stirring constantly, then boil for 2 minutes; turn off heat (keep saucepan on the element) stir in peanut butter and vanilla. Pour over the oat mixture then using a wooden spoon mix until completely combined.

Step 3

Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a plate/s (careful mix will be hot, I usually get 3 large platefuls) Cool for about 1 hour then refrigerate.
