"This is easy for a kid to do (well an older kid) The texture is perfect, creamy and rich. For the cheese amount you should start with 3/4 cup of your favorite blend of cheese and you could add more after. If you want it cheesier then use 1 cup or more."

I had some dried mozzarella tortellini in the pantry and decided to use it for this recipe. The cooking need a little longer because of the tortellini, but it turned out well. I used a little cheddar and some cheese spread together as the cheese, and this was wonderful. I made this for myself for lunch as was really surprised at how good this was. I love the peas added into this pasta, the flavour of the peas are complimented by the cheese and make perfect partner's. My hubby will love this as he loves the packet pasta in cheese sauce that you get from the supermarket, which takes longer than this to make in the microwave. So this will be what I use from now on. Thanks Under15Cook, I will be making this fantastic pasta quite often.
