Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Dry pasta (1/2 cup pasta, any kind is fine)
  • 1/2 cup water (or more if you need it)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup milk (I use the whole milk)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3/4 to 1 cup reduced-fat cheese (you can use your favorite blend of cheese if you like I like cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup green peas (frozen, thawed)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a medium microwave safe bowl combine pasta, water, salt and garlic. Microwave on high in 2 minute intervals, about 6 minutes in total time (if you run out of water before pasta is cooked add a few more tablespoons).

  • Step 2: Drain the water if there is any in the bowl.

  • Step 3: Stir in milk, butter, cheese and peas

  • Step 4: Microwave on high for 2-3 minutes (checking every minute if done)

  • Step 5: Once it is to the way your like just serve it!
