Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix the meatballs with the pasta sauce and canned tomatoes and place in a baking pan; cover with foil and bake in a preheated 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for 1 hour.

Step 2

Remove from oven and place 4 bottom buns on a baking sheet.

Step 3

Place 4 meatballs on top of these buns and divide the shredded cheese evenly atop the meatballs.

Step 4

Carefully place these in the oven and broil until the cheese is melted; add the top bun and enjoy.

Great Saturday Night meal! I used a croissant instead of a sub bun - messy eating but oh so good. I mixed the cheese with the chicken meatball as I was heating them so it would really melt. This will be made again!
