Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2
Beat together butter, applesauce and sugars until creamy.
Step 3
Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
Step 4
Add baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and flour; beat well.
Step 5
Add in oats and beat. Stir in raisins and distribute well.
Step 6
Using a small 2 tablespoon ice cream scoop, drop onto cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 7
Bake in preheated oven 12-14 minutes.
Step 8
Cool for about 2-3 minutes, then remove to wire cooling rack.
Step 9
For even lower fat, you could probably use egg substitutes.
