"I found this on my GF`s Facebook page with a note saying ... You've GOT to try this banana bread recipe! It uses honey and applesauce instead of sugar and oil, included was a photo of this high-top bread, I plan on making this soon, I would add in some blueberries and some chopped nuts"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step 2
Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
Step 3
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
Step 4
In a separate bowl, mix together applesauce and honey. Stir in eggs and mashed bananas until well blended. Stir banana mixture into flour mixture; stir just to moisten. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
Step 5
Bake in preheated oven for 60 to 65 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean.
Step 6
Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.
