Tips & Variations

I did a half recipe having 8 chicken wings with a weight of 800 grams and they took 40 minutes to cook in a 170C fan forced oven and they were delicious and will definitely be made again though for my taste will add a bit more chilli powder. Thank you LindasBusyKitchen, made for Alphabet Tag Game at FF&F.

These tasted great! I used the grill and just watched the temperature then put them on aluminum foil over the burner that was turned off and I turned the other ones on so it wasn't directly on the heat. No heating up my apartment and making a mess in the house!

I followed instructions as listed except for adding some cayenne. I doubled the recipe and this fed 5 hungry men. Thanks for sharing your recipe. Made for the Billboard Recipe Tag game.

Spicy sweet or hot and spicy, wings are a favourite appetiser or start at our house, love finding new recipes to add to our old favourites. Family in mind I cut back on the cinnamon and used a touch less cocoa powder, (two ingredients I am slowly adding to main dishes) other than that followed through as posted. Marinated for eight hours - loved that they came out of the oven crispy and looking as good as they tasted. Not having to fry makes these wings super easy - and as good as. Can't wait to serve these to family and friends. I've already stocked up on wings!
