Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pint strawberries (24 large, hulls removed)
  • 12 ounces cream cheese (at room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 cup almonds (chopped fine in the blender)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place cream cheese in a bowl, and microwave for 30 seconds, so that it's soft. Whip together the cream cheese, vanilla, and sugar. In the center of each strawberry, using a sharp knife, make a hole in each one, as deep as you can without going out the bottom. Spoon or pipe the filling into each hole. Dip cheesecake end of strawberry into chopped almonds, making sure you completely cover the cheesecake filling with the nuts. Lay strawberries in a pretty serving dish. Sprinkle with any leftover nuts around the dish. Chill, and serve. Makes 24 servings

  • Step 2: Whip together the cream cheese, vanilla, and sugar.

  • Step 3: In the center of each strawberry, using a sharp knife, make a hole in each one, as deep as you can without going out the bottom. (If you want to, you can slice across the bottom of each strawberry to make it flat, so you can stand them up on a platter. I do this when I use large strawberries)

  • Step 4: Spoon or pipe the filling into each hole.

  • Step 5: Dip cheesecake end of strawberry into chopped almonds, making sure you completely cover the cheesecake filling with the nuts.

  • Step 6: Lay or stand the strawberries in a pretty serving dish.

  • Step 7: Sprinkle with any leftover nuts around the dish.

  • Step 8: Chill, and serve.
