Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2

Butter a tube or Bundt pan and sprinkle with granulated sugar and sprinkle of cardamom.

Step 3

Cream the eggs and sugar.

Step 4

Add sour crea and almond extract.

Step 5

Sift together the flour, salt, soda, cinnamon and ground cardamom and mix with egg mixture.

Step 6

Pour batter into prepared pan.

Step 7

Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.

Step 8

Cool before removing from pan.

Step 9

Sprinkle turned out cake with powdered sugar mixture.
