  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • Pan
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Butter a tube or Bundt pan and sprinkle with granulated sugar and sprinkle of cardamom.

  • Step 3: Cream the eggs and sugar.

  • Step 4: Add sour crea and almond extract.

  • Step 5: Sift together the flour, salt, soda, cinnamon and ground cardamom and mix with egg mixture.

  • Step 6: Pour batter into prepared pan.

  • Step 7: Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.

  • Step 8: Cool before removing from pan.

  • Step 9: Sprinkle turned out cake with powdered sugar mixture.
