"This is one of my favorites cranberry sauce recipes, amounts may be doubled and you may adjust the sugar amount -- don't even think about making this using concentrated juice from a can or box you might as well use all water, although you could use half water and half fresh squeezed orange juice, I say for the best taste use all fresh orange juice!"

Step 1
Mix all ingredients in a saucepan; bring to boil. Reduce heat to low then while simmering using a fork or potato masher mash the berries for about 10-12 minutes (mashing while the mixture is simmering).
Step 2
Cool slightly the refrigerate for about 6 hours or overnight --- to make it smooth you can process the cooled mixture.
