"This is areally tasty recipe, loaded with flavour. Beautiful presentation. I like spicy so I use hot but if you want it less spicy use mild or medium sausage. Recipe originally from Bon Appetit with some changes by me"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350f
Step 2
Mix together all the ingredients except peppers
Step 3
Mix until well blended
Step 4
Fill the half peppers with the stuffing,
Step 5
The peppers should be slightly mounded
Step 6
Place in 13"X 9"X 2"oven proof dish
Step 7
Bake peppers uncovered until the tops are browned and internal temp is 165F Apprx 1 hour
