Step 1

Cook noodles according to package directions, omitting salt.

Step 2

Meanwhile, cook sausage and onion together in large skillet over medium heat until crumbled and no longer pink, stirring occasionally. Stir in undrained tomatoes and pesto; cook over medium-low heat for about 20-22 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 3

Drain noodles then add sausage mixture; toss to combine. Add salt and pepper.

This is a recipe that will be made many times. I used fresh tomatoes (tis the season) and added basil garlic & oregano. Didn't add any cream 5 star recipe all the way.
