Very tasty. I made a couple of changes, though. I have had bad experiences with gnocchi being "leaden" when cooked a long time, so I eliminated the cup of water (which I assume was so the gnocchi had enough liquid to cook in) and cooked the sauce for 4 hours while watching the game. Then I cooked the gnocchi in boiling water on the stove for 3 minutes and then added it to the sauce before serving. Worked great. Gnocchi stayed light and sauce was thicker. This will go into the things to cook in the RV book, only with macaroni added the last hour.

this was good but I really changed the recipe around based on what I had. I didn't have any canned tomatoes but I did have one fresh tomato which I used in addition to one red bell pepper and a can of V-8. I also used fresh herbs instead of dried. Very good and hearty.

This was a flavor packed casserole and we loved it. I did substitute the gnocchi with the large casserole macaroni and even my picky brother wanted some! We love crock pot recipes so this will fit very well into my menu plans many times.

Another winner! I am having some today for lunch as I type this review. Followed the recipe except for the gnocchi (picky husband)and we loved it! Did it stovetop since it was a last minute meal. Very great flavors, easy, quick and YUM! Thanks for sharing.

This meal was delicious, although I didn't make it exactly as written. I chickened out with adding the gnocchi as we have never had any gnocchi that we have liked. The gnocchi tends to turn out like lead. So instead I used tortelini and frankly I believe this was an excellent substitution. We loved the sauce. I also used a can of chopped tomatoes with basil and garlic. Made for Billboard tag.
