Step 1

Sift dry ingredients; cut in butter with pastry blender.

Step 2

Beat eggs ,honey , milk with sour cream; add to other ingredients.

Step 3

Turn mixture onto lightly floured board and roll out. Cut into diamonds or triangles. Place on greased cookie sheet.

Step 4

Bake in hot oven, 400 degrees, 15 minutes.

Step 5

Sprinkle with sugar.

Very nice scones! We had them with our coffee and enjoyed them very much. They were slightly crunchy on top and tender and moist on the inside. I topped ours with butter and Raspberry jam. Yummy!

Very good scones and a great way to use up buttermilk and sour cream -- split with jam they are the best. However the temp for the oven is not listed -- we used a 400 degree oven but not sure if that is what the poster wanted. Thanks for sharing!
