"Plan slight ahead there is a 6 hour marinating time, marinate in the morning them bake for dinner! NOTE: if you are baking the chicken without a rack DO NOT use frozen thawed chicken or you will end up with a ton of water in the bottom of the pan, if you do not have a rack use fresh not previously frozen then thawed chicken and make sure to pat dry the chicken using paper towels"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
For best results the chicken should be baked on a rack. Paper towel dry all chicken pieces. Place the chicken into a large plastic resealable bag. In a bowl combine the barbacue sauce with remaining ingredients; pour over chicken, seal bag then toss to coat. Refrigerate for about 6 hours tossing the bag frequently.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Set oven rack to lowest position. Fit a rack into a 15 x 10-inch sheet pan. Remove the chicken from the bag and place on rack (providing your marinade is not to watery you can brush it over the chicken pieces before baking).
Step 3
Bake uncovered for about 45-50 minutes or until cooked through.
