"Plan slight ahead there is a 6 hour marinating time, marinate in the morning them bake for dinner! NOTE: if you are baking the chicken without a rack DO NOT use frozen thawed chicken or you will end up with a ton of water in the bottom of the pan, if you do not have a rack use fresh not previously frozen then thawed chicken and make sure to pat dry the chicken using paper towels"

Step 1

For best results the chicken should be baked on a rack. Paper towel dry all chicken pieces. Place the chicken into a large plastic resealable bag. In a bowl combine the barbacue sauce with remaining ingredients; pour over chicken, seal bag then toss to coat. Refrigerate for about 6 hours tossing the bag frequently.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Set oven rack to lowest position. Fit a rack into a 15 x 10-inch sheet pan. Remove the chicken from the bag and place on rack (providing your marinade is not to watery you can brush it over the chicken pieces before baking).

Step 3

Bake uncovered for about 45-50 minutes or until cooked through.

Yum, Yum, Yum all the way! I cooked these for DH to take to work, and he loved them. Easy, simple and all the ingredients were on hand, I used DS's stash of Bourbon B.B.Q. sauce....sshhhh no body must know, so don't tell anyone..... and from what I have been told by DH and DD's boyfriend..... This was YUM. I made as per recipe and everything turned out fantastic. I did like the wire rack trick, it worked so well, for the drumsticks. So with all said and done I just have a quote from DD's boyfriend.... Wow this is a winner, winner chicken dinner! Now don't that just it all!...lol

Dynomite tasting chicken! What a great recipe this is. The chicken was so good, that it is one of our favorites now. We love the sticky full of flavor taste and we will make it often!
