I'm with Lori....this is an excellent side dish. I knew that I wanted to make these but couldn't decide what to serve them with. I finally decided to serve them alongside a Salisbury steak and mashed potatoes. Turned out to be an excellent choice. I ended up eating some of these on top of both of them. They were so good.....I made them the next night too! Thanks for sharing this great keeper. Congrats on your football win too.

Oh my gosh - excellent side dish! I used Vidalia onions, so sweet and good! I combined the parmesan, parsley and oregano in a small bowl, then sprinkled it over the onion slices as directed. They developed a delicious crust! I served these as a side dish, but when I described these to a coworker, she suggested serving them on a burger - and I think that's a great idea! The only caution is that the slices are kind of hard to turn, because the rounds want to slip out and about when you lift them. So use a spatula and a fork to keep them tamed! Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful recipe!
