Step 1: Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat; stir in brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Arrange onion slices in a single layer over the butter mixture in the skillet. Sprinkle with chopped celery, cover, and cook 10 minutes.
Step 2: Turn onion slices over; sprinkle with parsley, Parmesan, and oregano. Cover and cook another 10 minutes or until the onions are tender.
