"My grandmother is a full blooded Swede and she got this recipe from her mother, who came over to America in the late 1800's. She used to make this dessert for my sisters, brother, and I when we were young. We all LOVED it, and I cherish the recipe... This is definitely one of my favorite desserts, one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of eating! It is so delicious, everyone loves it that I share it with, and wants the recipe. Try it. Your family will love it as much as mine does!"

Tasty and easy way to make an apple dessert with a pie style top crust instead of crisp topping. I liked it, but think I like crisp better. Definitely easy though and fast to put together.

My first time making it but not my first time eating it. One of my families all time favorites. Topped with a good vanilla ice cream is a must, and we love it right out of the oven!

I have been wanting to make this special recipe from my grandmother for quite a while and waited until my grandson was here to help us eat it. We loved it so much topped with ice cream. We ate it hot from the oven and my grandson was so happy I made it! My hubby says I can make it any time! Deeeelicious!!

If you like apples then you are in for a surprise when you take your first bite of this delicious pie! It is so delicious that it's hard to describe. My husband says it puts apple pie to shame, so take it from there! We will have this again.
