Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 10 to 12 apples (depending on size)
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups margarine, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt (pinch)
  • 2 large eggs

How to Make

  • Step 1: Grease a 8x13: glass baking dish, or 2 pie plates.

  • Step 2: Fill dish/plates with apples 2/3 full (10-12 apples depending on size).

  • Step 3: Sprinkle 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon on top of apples. (If using pie plates, divide this for each one).

  • Step 4: In a small bowl, mix remaining ingredients well together, and pour over apples. (If using pie plates, place half of this over each plate of apples).

  • Step 5: Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven, for 45 minutes, or until brown.

  • Step 6: Serve with whipped cream or French Vanilla ice cream.
