Step by Step Method
Step 1
Transfer the chopped chicken to the bowl of the instant pot.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix all remaining ingredients up to and including the red pepper flakes. Transfer mixture to the bowl of the instant pot.
Step 3
Close the lid and pressure cook for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Release the pressure manually and press the saute button.
Step 5
While the saute process is starting, mix water and cornstarch together in a small bowl.
Step 6
Add the cornstarch slurry to the chicken and stir into chicken mixture until incorporated completely.
Step 7
Cook until sauce thickens (1-2 minutes).
Step 8
Remove from pot and serve.
Step 9
Serve over cooked white rice and garnish with green onions.
