Step by Step Method

Step 1

In bowl

Step 2

Add the ground pork, garlic, ginger, onion powder, garlic powder and 1/4 cup teriyaki.

Step 3

Season with garlic salt and pepper to taste

Step 4

Then mix well.

Step 5

Form burger mixture into four equal sized patties.

Step 6

Grill pineapple rounds until they have grill marks. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 7

Toast buns on the grill.

Step 8

Remove and set aside.

Step 9

Place pork patties on the grill.

Step 10

Barbecue for about 8 minutes, or until the patty has firmed up enough to flip.

Step 11

Once firm,baste with teriyaki sauce.

Flip

Allow to cook for 5 minutes, then flip again and baste the other side

Add cheese

Mayonnaise top and bottom of bun

Add pineapple and lettuce

Add burger

Absolutely loved the fresh ginger in this! We enjoyed this burger very much and they didn't take very long to make. My only suggestion is to grill the buns after the burgers, so the heat has died down a bit and doesn't burn the bread. Delicious!
