Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground pork
  • 1 clove garlic, smashed
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce,basting
  • 4 slices pineapple rings
  • 4 leaves lettuce
  • 1/4 cup red onion; cut into rings
  • 4 ounces havarti cheese,(4 slices)
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 ounces hamburger bun,(4)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In bowl

  • Step 2: Add the ground pork, garlic, ginger, onion powder, garlic powder and 1/4 cup teriyaki.

  • Step 3: Season with garlic salt and pepper to taste

  • Step 4: Then mix well.

  • Step 5: Form burger mixture into four equal sized patties.

  • Step 6: Grill pineapple rounds until they have grill marks. Remove from heat and set aside.

  • Step 7: Toast buns on the grill.

  • Step 8: Remove and set aside.

  • Step 9: Place pork patties on the grill.

  • Step 10: Barbecue for about 8 minutes, or until the patty has firmed up enough to flip.

  • Step 11: Once firm,baste with teriyaki sauce.

  • Step 12: Flip

  • Step 13: Allow to cook for 5 minutes, then flip again and baste the other side

  • Step 14: Add cheese

  • Step 15: Mayonnaise top and bottom of bun

  • Step 16: Add pineapple and lettuce

  • Step 17: Add burger
