"This is a recipe I found in a company's coming cookbook, but changed up quite a bit. It is a great recipe I like to make when we will be spending the day outdoors in the winter time. Filling and belly warming. For a gluten free meal make sure you use gluten free beef bouillon powder and gluten free tomato soup (I use the Amy's brand)."

Wonderful comfort dish on a cold day -- served with potovers! The only change I made was using only 1 pound of ground beef, only 2 carrots and my can of soup was 14 oz so I skipped the water. Delish!

This is a really delicious casserole and we loved it. I put it on and when I got home from work it was ready to go. Nothing better than this when you don't feel like cooking!

This recipe is great!! Super easy and fulfills your "comfort food" needs. I made it with 1lb of ground beef and 1lb ground turkey and it turned out wonderful:-) Also to make it just a little bit easier I put in an 8oz. bag of already sliced carrots and it was the perfect amount. Thanks for the great recipe!

A wonderful one pot meal that made for one great supper. The aroma alone had us thinking a five star supper and it was. Made as posted and wouldn't change a thing - it is one great tasting casserole. We enjoyed every bite!

When you hear the words "Comfort Food" think of this recipe. It is great for any season of the year - it was over 30C today but making this dinner in the crock pot gave no heat in the kitchen. The only things I did differently were to add the frozen peas just 30 minutes before serving and I used whole new potatoes and scraped new carrots. The potatoes I mashed on my plate MMMmm so good.8 Feb 15 Made again and enjoyed just as much

Great casserole! Very easy, tasty and satisfying. I used garlic salt for the salt, 2 small brown onions and tomato bisque soup. I cooked it on high for about 3 hours and it was done. My 'slow' cooker seems to cook pretty fast on high. I added the frozen peas at the very end so they wouldn't be overcooked. Freddy Cat says thanks for the beef! Made for the Billboard recipe tag game.
