  • Use ripe avocados for the best flavor and texture.
  • For a spicier guacamole, increase the hot pepper sauce to 1/2 teaspoon.

  • Instead of red onion, use 1/2 cup of diced red bell pepper. This substitution will provide a sweeter flavor and a crunchier texture.
  • Instead of canned white beans, use 1/2 cup of cooked black beans. This substitution will add more fiber and protein to the dish, as well as a nutty flavor.

Black Bean Guacamole Replace the white beans with a can of black beans, rinsed and drained. Add 1/4 teaspoon of smoked paprika to the mixture and pulse until blended.

Mexican Rice: This Mexican-style rice is a great accompaniment to the guacamole. It's easy to make and has a great flavor from the garlic, onion, and cumin. It's a great way to add some extra texture and flavor to the dish!

Black Beans: Black beans are a great side dish to go with Mexican rice. They are packed with protein and fiber, making them a healthy and filling addition to your meal. They also provide a great flavor and texture contrast to the rice, and their mild flavor won't overpower the other ingredients.

What a lovely guacamole. I didn't have white beans, so used chickpeas (garbanzos). I used Tabasco as the hot sauce and a extra cumin, which I love some much. Nice touch to soak the onion in the lime juice. I thought it needed the full amount of salt, but that's a personal preference. Thanks for posting.
