Step by Step Method

Step 1

Place fillets in the middle of a sheet of aluminum foil large enough to warp around the tilapia.

Step 2

Sprinkle fillet with lemon pepper. Spread green onions, ginger and garlic evenly on top of fish.

Step 3

Pour soy sauce and water over fillet.

Step 4

Carefully seal up foil on all sides, leaving some room inside the packet for heat to circulate.

Step 5

Grill for 7-10 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°

Lots of flavor! I used pollock fish instead of tilapia because that's what I had on hand. I grilled over a charcoal grill and wished I had pulled the fish out at 7 minutes. I let it run for about 11 and because the coals were HOT, it overcooked slightly, but now I know not to do that next time. Perfect tasting fish. Thank you, Teresa, for sharing!
