Step by Step Method
Step 1
Wash greens and spin dry. Refrigerate in an airtight container with a damp towel over them to absorb excess moisture until ready to use (can be refrigerated overnight)
Step 2
In a large salad bowl put greens and then add the shallots and herbs; toss. Drizzle oil and vinegar over salad; season with salt and pepper. Add cheddar and pecans; toss.
Step 3
Divide among 4 plates and arrange apples over the salads. Drizzle with oil and vinegar and season with salt and pepper.
