Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Step 2
Butter, flour, Pam spray Bundt pan or a 9x13 pan.
Step 3
Heat the apple sauce and the margarine in a small saucepan over medium heat until the margarine is melted and the mixture is hot.
Step 4
Cream the brown sugar and the eggs.
Step 5
Sift together all of the dry ingredients.
Step 6
Stir everything together and bake in a greased 9x13 pan or Bundt pan.
Step 7
Bake for 45 minutes.
Step 8
To make the frosting: mix together the cream cheese, butter, vanilla, and powdered sugar.
Step 9
Once the cake is cool, spread the frosting evenly over the top.
