"This takes minutes to make and is very very good. Great texture. This recipe is from my hairdressers Larry & Gerry - they swear by it. They said to use 1/2 ground flax and 1/2 ground almond. Micro waves differ the wee loaf will have risen to double it's size when ready"

I made this for breakfast and it was a complete failure in the taste and texture department. It was not palatable!

I have been wanting to make this for a long time, and I finally did this morning. I used half Hodgson Mills Flax Seed and half Bob's Red Mill Almond Flour. I microwaved for the full 2 minutes. The look and texture looked good upon slicing, but after toasting, when I took my first bite, it tasted gritty from the seeds, and it didn't taste good at all with just butter. I threw them in the garbage, BUT I will play with the recipe until I can find the right texture and taste. I will not rate this now, because I see others have had success using other products. Wish me luck, because I REALLY want this to WORK for me for my Bariatric eating plan, so I can have toast in the mornings! Thank you for sharing this with us Bergy! Linda

WINNER!! Have been looking for good GF recipes, loving flax as I do I had to give this quick and easy recipe a go! My GF/Wheat free family and friends loved them as well ... you know you have a winner when they go home with recipe in hand! Make mine with 2 tablespoons flax and 2 tablespoons of either ground almonds or almond Meal. I do add a touch of salt and for breakfast add a little sweetener. So good and so satisfying. Has seen to many many repeats. Love when healthy tastes this good!!

This is like a miracle bread for me. I love making it one minute and it's ready to go in the toaster for breakie shortly after, and it's healthy too. What more could a bread lover ask for!

love this quick and easy bread. I used half almond flour and 1/2 ground flax. it was light and airy. Used half and half as another had recommended it as it made it light. Will definitely make again. for health I am cutting back on wheat products so this worked out great. Thanks for another great recipe. all your recipes are really good

I love that this bread toasts so well and you won't miss regular bread at all using this instead. By using different shaped dishes or bowls you can make this different widths and lengths, to use as rolls for burgers, hotdogs and sausages.
