"This is a oriental style sauce I put together a while back and really enjoyed. It is great on ribs and skin on bone in chicken pieces. This enough for 2 racks of ribs or 3 pounds of chicken pieces. If you like the chicken skin crispy, you can broil the chicken pieces on a baking sheet just before serving them."

This worked out wonderful for us -- so easy too. We only used 4 chicken thighs but all the sauce ingredients and it cooked all day. Thanks for sharing!

Crockpot's are great and save me so much time, so when I saw this I was thrilled to try it. The chicken was so moist and falling off the bone, and I made one rack of ribs too at the same time. It made and extra delicious meal. I used 2 pounds of chicken pieces, both legs and thighs for the kids and one rack of ribs. I poured sauce over the ribs and put them on the bottom, then placed the chicken pieces in and topped with more sauce, so everything would have plenty of sauce covering the meat. It fed the 4 of us with no leftovers, because we loveddd it!

This turned out good but the primary flavor is just sweetness. I think I would have liked it better with fresh garlic and ginger, and less sugar, but I wanted to follow the recipe. I used 3 defrosted bone-in chicken breasts, that I did brown under the broiler, and then I threw in a few pieces of boneless chicken too. I cooked it on high for 4 hours. I decided to shred the meat at the end and mix it with the sauce, and that caused some problems because of some fine bones being left in. I served it over jasmine rice with steamed cabbage. Hubby said it would be good with bacon...might try leftovers on a sandwich with bacon tomorrow. Made for the Billboard recipe tag game.

Who does not like fall off the bone chicken? This was so juicy and tender that DH kept mentioning it as he ate. I did put the chicken back under the broiler for a few to crisp up the skin a wee bit. Also added some hot pepper flakes for a sweet hot dish. He requested it again! Thanks Bea for sharing! Made for Billboard Recipe Tag.

This made for one terrific supper last night - always impressed when easy tastes great! Used skin on chicken pieces and plans are to use this sauce for ribs as well. Served with lovely buttered freshly picked green beans with sprigs of dill and a garden salad. Definitely a company quality meal.
