"This makes a real crispy and delicious fried chicken, I fried this in my electric skillet and it came out good although I suggest to use (if you have one) a cast iron skillet. I love this fried chicken recipe, I`ll be making this many more times"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Seasoned Flour: Combine and set aside.
Step 2
Crispy Batter: Combine ingredients.
Step 3
Heat shortening to 365 degrees F.
Step 4
Moisten chicken pieces in water, shake off excess.
Step 5
Dip in seasoned flour, then batter, then back in seasoned flour.
Step 6
Fry for 15 to 18 minutes or until well browned.
Step 7
Drain on paper towels.
