Step by Step Method
Step 1
Place the cabbage in a stock pot.
Step 2
Add water, pepper, salt and caraway. Cool until tender.
Step 3
Add sugar and vinegar.
Step 4
In a skillet, add/heat the oil. Add in the onion, then fry until browned.
Step 5
Add flour to skillet and cook mixing with the cabbage.
Step 6
Cook until thickened, tasting and adding more sugar or vinegar if needed.
