Step by Step Method

Step 1

Brown sausage and onion in a skillet.

Step 2

Drain well.

Step 3

Place potatoes, celery and carrot in bottom of Pam sprayed crock pot.

Step 4

Add sausage and onion mixture.

Step 5

Add soup

Step 6

Pour chicken broth over vegetables and sausage.

Step 7

Turn crock pot to low and cook 5 hours.

Step 8

During the last 5 minutes of cooking add evaporated milk instant potatoes (more if soup is thin)and cheddar cheese.

Step 9

Do a taste test for salt and pepper and add, if needed.
