Step 1: Brown sausage and onion in a skillet.
Step 2: Drain well.
Step 3: Place potatoes, celery and carrot in bottom of Pam sprayed crock pot.
Step 4: Add sausage and onion mixture.
Step 5: Add soup
Step 6: Pour chicken broth over vegetables and sausage.
Step 7: Turn crock pot to low and cook 5 hours.
Step 8: During the last 5 minutes of cooking add evaporated milk instant potatoes (more if soup is thin)and cheddar cheese.
Step 9: Do a taste test for salt and pepper and add, if needed.
