This is super good, and it's really easy to prepare. All you have to do is add all of the ingredients to a crock pot, and let it do all the work. For the first step, I chose not to brown the beef, so I left out the oil. But otherwise, I stuck to the recipe as written. I almost skipped the green olives (because no one in my family cares for them), but I stuck to ingredient list as written, so I could have a fair chance of trying the recipe as it was intended. And I'm so glad I kept the green olives in the recipe, because they really elevate this dish to a new level. Thanks, Dee. This was a big winner in my home.
