Step by Step Method
Step 1
Place onion rings on the bottom of your crock pot, add ribs.
Step 2
Whisk together the remaining ingredients, except the cornstarch and water. Reserve one cup of this mixture, put it in the fridge.
Step 3
Pour remaining sauce over the ribs, turn crock pot heat to low, cook 5-6 hours. When the ribs are very tender drain them, discard drained sauce, keep ribs warm.
Step 4
Mix together the water and cornstarch, add to the reserved cup of sauce, Heat it, bring to boil, simmer until it thickens.
Step 5
Serve the ribs with some thickened sauce poured over them.
