Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced (peeled, separated into rings)
  • 3 to 4 pounds boneless country-style pork ribs (trimmed of any fat)
  • 2 cups tomato juice (extra spicy clamato)
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 teaspoon worchestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 4 tablespoons water

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place onion rings on the bottom of your crock pot, add ribs.

  • Step 2: Whisk together the remaining ingredients, except the cornstarch and water. Reserve one cup of this mixture, put it in the fridge.

  • Step 3: Pour remaining sauce over the ribs, turn crock pot heat to low, cook 5-6 hours. When the ribs are very tender drain them, discard drained sauce, keep ribs warm.

  • Step 4: Mix together the water and cornstarch, add to the reserved cup of sauce, Heat it, bring to boil, simmer until it thickens.

  • Step 5: Serve the ribs with some thickened sauce poured over them.
