Step 1

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Step 2

Combine first 3 ingredients in a small bowl; stir well, and set aside.

Step 3

Unroll pizza dough, and roll into a 12 x 8 inch rectangle.

Step 4

Lightly coat surface of dough with cooking spray, and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons cheese mixture.

Step 5

Fold dough in half to form an 8 x 6 inch rectangle.

Step 6

Lightly coat surface of dough with cooking spray, and sprinkle with remaining cheese mixture.

Step 7

Using fingertips, press cheese mixture into dough.

Step 8

Cut dough into 16 (8-inch-long strips.

Step 9

Gently pick up both ends of each strip, and twist dough.

Step 10

Place twisted strips of dough 1/2 inch apart on a large baking sheet coated with cooking spray.

Step 11

Bate for 8 minutes or until lightly browned.

Step 12

Remove twists from pan, and let cool on wire racks.

Daily Inspiration

Awesome bread twists - loved the flavor and the kick. Made these delicious bread twists to go with some homemade chili and they really complimented it well. Have to give credit to my DH as he did the precise cutting on the dough. Will definitely make these twists again. : )
