Step by Step Method

Step 1

Insert shredding disc.

Step 2

Stand the carot in the small feed tube and process, using firm pressure.

Step 3

Place the cabbage wedges in the large feed tube and shred, using firm pressure.

Step 4

Transfer to a large bowl.

Step 5

Next, insert the metal blade and put the parsley in the work bowl.

Step 6

While the machine is running, drop the garlic and onion through the feed tube and process until minced.

Step 7

Add the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, celery seed, salt and pepper and process 5 seconds.

Step 8

Pour over shredded vegetables and gently toss.

Step 9

Serve chilled.

I must admit, I did cheat when making this. I scaled the recipe down to 6 and used a pre-packaged coleslaw mix. My parsley was browned so I simply omitted it. And I used white wine vinegar instead of red. The sauce is what it's all about here. We loved it!!! It has a wonderful light sweetness with just a hint of tang.
