  • 1 onion, small
  • 1 1/3 cups mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 4 teaspoons sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 carrot, large
  • 1 green cabbage head, medium (cored and cut in wedges)
  • 1/8 red cabbage head (cored and cut in wedge)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Insert shredding disc.

  • Step 2: Stand the carot in the small feed tube and process, using firm pressure.

  • Step 3: Place the cabbage wedges in the large feed tube and shred, using firm pressure.

  • Step 4: Transfer to a large bowl.

  • Step 5: Next, insert the metal blade and put the parsley in the work bowl.

  • Step 6: While the machine is running, drop the garlic and onion through the feed tube and process until minced.

  • Step 7: Add the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, celery seed, salt and pepper and process 5 seconds.

  • Step 8: Pour over shredded vegetables and gently toss.

  • Step 9: Serve chilled.

  • Step 10: Makes 8 cups
